You heard it right! Students in Ms. Riggles class received their official word detective badges, and oh my, the excitement could be heard seeping into the hallways! You might ask how did they become proud word detectives? Well, they began by noticing a problem to solve, looking very closely from start to end, and double checking - slowly! Using strategies and clues, students trained themselves to ask questions; does it look right, does it sound right, does it make sense? The best part was sitting together, having a partner to work with and helping each other. The result? "We can read any word," they shared. Great detective work...very impressive!
