Students who compete at the following State Eliminations tournaments must commit to competing in the State Championships if they qualify.

Feb. 10 North Shore LD & PF Debate Elims for States
Feb. 14 (Wed.) Chaminade Congress (2:45 departure) Elims for States

*all departure times are 7 A.M. from Cold Spring Harbor H.S. unless otherwise noted; times, dates, and locations may be subject to change; check LIFA.org for changes and listen to your coaches for the latest tournament info.
Students who qualify for the State Championships may need to bring a qualified judge (one who has judged at least two local tournaments in the same event this academic year) to the State Championships.

***NOVICE LD (Lincoln-Douglas Debate) & NOVICE PF (Public Forum Debate):
FIRST YEAR 9th graders &/or FIRST YEAR 10th graders only
Intermediate LD & Intermediate PF: No contestant may be in his/her fourth year of debate.
Varsity LD & Varsity PF: Open to all competitors

Students who compete at the following National Eliminations tournament(s) must:
1. Provide two qualified judges per contestant/team
2. Commit to competing in the National Championships if they qualify
Students who qualify for the National Championships may need to bring a qualified judge (one who has judged at least two local tournaments in the same event this academic year) to the National Championships.

March 24 Sacred Heart Academy PF, Congress, & Duo (Speech) Elims for Nationals
